North Central College Coffee Lab Summit will invite regional vendors in the coffee supply chain for a one day event centered on connecting green coffee importers with roasters in the region. Along with other vendors from roaster manufacturers to espresso machines, this event will give attendees from the region access to people they haven’t been able to meet in person for the past few years.A lunch time round table discussion with roasters and importers will shed light on the challenges we all are face with shipping, logistics, sharp price increases and supply shortages.The day will close with a screening of the NCC film highlighting some of the direct relationship producers they work with in Guatemala. All proceeds from this event will go to the medical clinic in San Lucas, Guatemala.
